Fried Rice Recipes Your Kids Will Never Get Over

Frying rice is an old tradition and it dates back many years, so you have plenty of time to try out a different fried rice recipe than what you're probably used to. Fried rice in general is not hard to make, you can also do it on the stovetop. It can be served plain with its typical sweet and sour mix or you can put something special on your fried rice.

For this fried rice recipe, I used chicken as my main meat. I don't normally do this but the reason I chose to use chicken was that I love the texture and flavor of the chicken. I know most people who make fried chicken are more inclined to use pork because they tend to be cheaper, however, chicken is just as good if not better. If you don't like pork, just use another meat and you'll get the same dish.

This fried rice recipe is called for white chicken, which is usually more expensive than the other types of chicken. I used boneless, skinless chicken breast. I put the sauce on top of the breasts and along with the sesame seeds, corn starch, and chicken stock to make it thicker. My husband loved it and I had to make him again! The secret is to add the ingredients in such a way so that when the eggs are cooked, the sauce coats them nicely and coats the eggs too so they look soft from within.

This was another one of my favorite recipes. I made this recipe while on a week-long business trip. I was going to use a frozen carrot, and garlic bulb but once I got home I realized that I did not have a bunch of these cheapo carrots. However, instead of going to the supermarket and buying a truckload of these cheap carrots I just pulled up a bag of frozen carrots at the supermarket and used this recipe to come up with this wonderful tasting dish.

One is called Jasmine rice and the other one is called bamboo shoots. Both are very tasty dishes and were unique. Both used medium-grain rice. The Jasmine rice used mung beans for its sweetness, and the bamboo shoots used raw shrimp. Both of these dishes had a nice flavor and were ideal for people watching their diets.
